FAQS

  • I am licensed in Connecticut and Massachusetts.  I complete all my sessions online via a HIPAA-compliant video platform.  This allows clients the flexibility that they need when juggling medical appointments, treatments and/or caregiving responsibilities.

  • I work 9:00 pm to 3:00 pm EST, Monday through Thursday.

  • The first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you better and discuss your history. We will also discuss why you are seeking counseling at this time and what you would like to work on together.

  • This answer is different for everyone. Sometimes, people need short-term support to get them through a difficult period in their lives. Other times, people find the benefit in having space where they can regularly talk through problems that are going on in their lives. I will meet you where you are and we will come up with a plan that best meets your needs.

  • Here are some options:

    • I am in-network with Optum/United, Aetna and Point32Health commercial plans (Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts) in Massachusetts and Optum/United and Aetna in Connecticut.

    • If you have an insurance company that I am not in-network with, then I could see you out-of-network if you have a PPO plan. You can check with your insurance company to see what your out-of-network benefits are for outpatient mental health treatment. You would pay privately for sessions and submit a superbill (a special kind of receipt) to your insurance company. Your insurance company would then reimburse you for some or all of the fees you paid me.

    • You could choose to see me on a private-pay basis. My full private pay fee for a 53-minute session is $150.00.

  • Reach out to me today to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.  During your consultation, you can share why you are seeking help now, and I’ll answer any questions you might have.  If you feel like we are a good fit during your consultation, we can move forward with scheduling a full intake session once you have completed your initial paperwork.

Scheduling a consultation is your first step to healing.
